Neprakta Winter Jiří

(1924-2011)

Malíř, ilustrátor, grafik, karikaturista a kreslíř. Studoval na Státní grafické škole, po válce studoval na Přírodovědecké fakultě Univerzity Karlovy. Aktivně se účastnil protifašistického odboje, byl několik let vězněn v nacistické káznici v Bernau.

Byl členem skupiny Máj 57, jejíž první výstavy se účastnil. Používal pseudonym Neprakta. Věnoval se tvorbě kreslených vtipů, jichž vytvořil přes třicet tisíc. Spolupracoval s mnoha autory humoristické literatury, především se spisovatelem a humoristou Miloslavem Švanderlíkem. Oba patřili mezi hlavní autory československého humoristického časopisu Dikobraz. Věnoval se i animovanému filmu, knižním ilustracím, návrhům hraček a rovněž kostýmů, kulis a scén pro divadelní a filmovou tvorbu.
